#8 The pools of the Gellért Spa, Budapest
Budapest, often called the “City of Spas,” is famous for its thermal baths and wellness centers. One of the most iconic is the Gellért Bath, which has been a staple of the city for nearly 100 years. Located within the Danubius Hotel Gellért, the spa features 12 pools, each with varying temperatures and sizes. The spa’s design, crafted in the late Art Nouveau style, is highlighted by beautiful frescoes and stunning mosaic floors. Its colorful stained glass windows and intricate details make the Gellért Bath one of Hungary’s most photographed landmarks.
