Connecticut – Hope Lange
Hope Lange made her film debut alongside Marilyn Monroe in 1956’s Bus Stop, but really rose to prominence with her role in 1957’s Peyton Place.
The Redding, Connecticut-born actress went on to enjoy further film roles (The Young Lions, Wild in the Country) and won two Emmys for TV sitcom The Ghost & Mrs. Muir.
