Although Debbie Harry, the frontwoman of Blondie, is almost synonymous with New York City, she was born as Angela Trimble in Miami, Florida, in 1945.
It wasn’t until the 1960s that Harry would move to New York, quickly becoming the most recognizable face in the city’s punk and new wave scenes.
